What the game keeps
Your cheese, stars, missions, settings and shop items are saved in your browser's storage on this device. There are no accounts, and the game doesn't send your progress anywhere. Clearing the site's data, or Settings → Reset all progress, deletes it.
To play without signal, the game saves a copy of its own files on your device.
Ads
Ads are optional and only appear when you choose to watch one: to revive once in a run, or to double the cheese from a run. They need signal. When ads are switched on, the game loads Google's ad code, and Google and its partners may use cookies or similar identifiers to show and measure ads. Where the law requires it, Google asks for your consent first.

Buying cheese
When cheese packs are on sale, payments are handled by Stripe on its own checkout page. The game never sees your card details.
Route data
Station and route data come from the Transport for London Unified API. Tube Rat is not affiliated with or endorsed by Transport for London.
